Do you read or write fanfiction?	Both, but I read orders of magnitude more than I write.
When did you first start reading/writing fanfiction?	Um... 2002, I think. About the same time isiscolo did; it was beta-ing a couple of her earliest stories that got me interested.
What was your first fandom?	Harry Potter.
First ship?	cringe Snape/Hermione. Which I'm so totally, totally over.
What website do you use most?	LJ.
What do you think of Fanfiction.net?	It has its good points; I like the variety, and being able to sort fics by rating and main character is useful. I wish their update alert system was more reliable. And it'd be nice if I could hit a button that would magically filter out all the illiterate crap.
What fandoms have you written in?	Harry Potter, Yami no Matsuei
Pairings?	Snape/Hermione, Hooch/McGonagall, George/Hermione/Fred, Draco/Hermione, Tsuzuki+Hisoka
Any fandoms you would like to write in?	Addicted To Curry! (Also Jake 2.0, DN and HnG)
Do reviews affect how you write in any way?	They can; when a reviewer comments on something I was particularly trying for, or points out something I hadn't thought of, it can be very inspiring. And positive reviews help with my motivation.
Do you use a beta?	No, but I'd like to. I write (nonfiction) for a living, so my stuff is usually technically clean, but I have some bad habits and I'm not very good with plot or setting. Plus the sort of thoughtful commentary you can get from a beta can help the ideas flow.
What ratings do you read/write?	I've yet to write anything stronger than an R, but I'll read anything. (I have a strong preference for romantic pairings, though, so I don't read genfic unless it's really good.)
What warnings have you used on your fiction/read?	Angst, bad hetsex
Do you have any squicks?	Pedo and incest presented in a positive light give me the heebie-jeebies.
Do you Role-play online? If so, what?	I don't, but I think I might enjoy it. I think it'd be a dangerous time-sink.
Have you ever stolen something from another person's work?	Nope.
Favorite fandom to write/read?	Right now I'm all about the WK.
Favorite pairing?	Crawford/Schuldig is my current obsession but I have a longstanding fetish for Naoe/Takaya.
Favorite writer/writers?	Non-fanfic? Don Marquis, Thorne Smith, Rex Stout, Elizabeth Peters, Ellis Peters, Martha Grimes.
How long should a chapter be?	As long as it needs to be. As a rule, I think 1000+ words is best, but there are times when a brief interlude is called for.
Do you write/read drabbles?	Sometimes. Mostly I'll only read drabbles from my favorite authors. I sometimes post drabbles in my non-fanfic LJ based on scenarios from They Fight Crime!
Any fandoms you avoid?	These days I'm quite off Potterfic.
Pairings you avoid?	Farfarello/anybody.
Warnings you avoid?	Incest and puns.
Do the number of reviews tell how good a story is?	It can sometimes be an indicator, but it's not reliable.
What do you think of Mary Sues?	They make me want to go on a tri-state shooting spree.
Have you ever flamed someone?	Not over fanfic, but back on Usenet I was actually fairly well known (and occasionally respected) for my deft touch with the flamethrower.
Have you ever been flamed?	Hells, yeah.
